Hire a 6 berth tent

If you want some extra room or have a larger group, a 6 berth tent is the next step up from the 4 berth. These are recommended for groups of 4 people, especially if you plan on staying for more than 3 days. The increased storage and bedroom space can be useul, particularly so on rainy days.

The geodesic design makes this a very stable and comfortable family tent. Good head room, very light due to ample windows, including one in the living area ceiling (great for rainy days) and mud protection from the sewn in groundsheet and extraextra valence. It is smaller but sturdier than the Coasline Deluxe and on the whole has a higher quality feel to it. Again, six adults would be a squeeze but it is ample for a family of five.

A lightweight, roomy and airy tent from the Coleman Deluxe range. Bedrooms are easily removed to increase living space on rainy days and to utilize front porch (side entrance use only when end bedroom is erected). The seperate bedroom (right side in the diagram) does feel cramped with two people due to the tapering wall but is fine for one adult or two small children.

We like the Vango Tigris range for its no nonsense, easy to use and sturdy design. This another spacious 6 berth that looks good, goes up quickly and stays up. There are good storage facilities and the steeper end means that the second sleeping compartment does not feel as cramped as the Coleman Coastline.
